CPC Calculator 🔒 Your data never leaves your browser.

Calculate cost per click, or the clicks affordable within a budget.

About this tool

This CPC calculator works in both directions. Enter your ad spend and the number of clicks it bought to get the cost per click, or switch to reverse mode and enter a budget plus a known CPC to see how many clicks that budget would afford. The maths is deliberately simple and transparent: CPC is ad spend ÷ clicks, and the reverse mode just solves that same equation for clicks.

What counts as a "normal" CPC varies enormously — it can be a few cents for a low-competition long-tail keyword, or well over $50 for some of the most competitive legal and finance keywords, and everything in between depending on industry, platform and targeting. This tool stays neutral on purpose: it computes the raw ratio and leaves you to judge whether that number is good for your own niche, rather than labelling any figure cheap or expensive. Everything runs locally in your browser — the figures you enter never leave your device.

Frequently asked questions

Is a lower CPC always better?

Not necessarily — CPC alone doesn't tell you about the quality of the traffic. A cheap click that never converts is worse value than a more expensive click that reliably turns into a sale, so CPC is best judged alongside conversion rate and the resulting cost per acquisition (CPA), rather than in isolation.
