CTR Calculator 🔒 Your data never leaves your browser.
Calculate click-through rate, or the clicks needed to hit a target CTR.
About this tool
This CTR calculator works in both directions. Enter clicks and impressions to get the click-through rate, or switch to reverse mode and enter a target CTR plus an impression count to see exactly how many clicks you would need to reach it. The maths is deliberately simple and transparent: CTR is clicks ÷ impressions × 100, and the reverse mode just solves that same equation for clicks.
What counts as a "good" CTR varies enormously by context — search ads, display ads and email campaigns each have very different typical ranges, and even within one channel it shifts by industry, ad position and device. This tool stays neutral on purpose: it computes the raw ratio and leaves you to compare it against whatever benchmark fits your own campaign, rather than labelling any number good or bad. Everything runs locally in your browser — the figures you enter never leave your device.
Frequently asked questions
What counts as a "good" CTR?
It depends heavily on the channel: search ads often see CTRs of 2-5%+, display/banner ads often sit well under 1%, and a good email CTR is frequently in the low single digits too. Comparing your CTR against your own historical baseline or a same-channel benchmark is far more meaningful than any single "good number" — this tool intentionally just computes the ratio without judging it.
